Design is crucial to the development of any new solution / innovation. Digital Health Interventions can only work if people engage with them. Increasingly, “gamification” and game-design is being used to foster volitional engagement with health promotion and maintenance applications. However, many attempts fall flat and don’t produce the desired effect on engagement or outcomes
Join Dustin DiTomasso for a full day of workshop. Dustin is Senior Vice President of Behavior Change Design at Mad*Pow. A designer and researcher, Dustin’s work involves the study and application of behavioral and decision science, motivational psychology, and human-computer interaction to the design of technology-assisted behavior change interventions, products, and services. His client portfolio includes partnerships with a range of innovative start-ups, non-profits, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies across domains; including healthcare, financial services, education, and social impact.
This will introduce a modular framework built from primary tenets of motivational psychology, evidence-based behaviour change techniques and game design mechanics and is intended for product teams of two or more interested in creating, fixing, or optimizing gameful approaches to behaviour change interventions.
At Health 2.0 we are passionate about patients, they are the real motor for change and accessible innovation Technology has supported the rising of their voices: they became increasingly informed and empowered, they called for a redefinition of the doctor/patient relationship, they started using new tools to co-produce their own health, became actors of their own care.
The idea behind Patients 2.0 is to share experiences, raise concerns, questions and build motion and interactivity between patients and the audience. The 3-hours interactive session is focused on patients, the role of technology in empowering them and the process of the co-design of Health 2.0 solutions and giving a new sense to the words "patient-centricity".
We encourage everyone to attend, and meet the real drivers behind healthcare innovation.
The session is FREE for patients
Where are all the clinicians - many of us wondered at digital health conferences?
Well, they will be at our Doctors 2.0 forum. Too many times health innovation events end up gathering geeks talking to other geeks. And we are not going to sell clinicians on the Health 2.0 promises by simply showing them 'cool' tools that claim they will 'disrupt their world'. Doctors 2.0 is specifically designed for practising doctors, nurses, caregivers and other professional actors of the care coordination chain. The 3-hour interactive session will aim to answer questions on the real challenges facing hospitals and health professionals, and will discuss potential solutions on how to adopt transformative, and truly useful innovations.
Doctors 2.0 will showcase professional facing solutions and bring together health professional pioneers, evaluation experts, and clinical UX specialists to share their experiences engaging with digital health innovators. The idea of this session is to share experiences and build as much interactivity as possible between doctors on stage and those in the audience.
This session is FREE to attend for health care professionals.
