HIMSS Europe and Health 2.0 Conference

During the HIMSS Europe & Health 2.0 Conference, a number of hospitals, organisations and individuals who are making a difference in the healthcare sector will be recognised for their success and their efforts. This year’s award categories are:
HIMSS Analytics Europe will award European hospitals that have achieved the highest scores on the EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM).
The EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM) is an eight-stage model that allows you to track your progress against other healthcare organisations around Europe and across the world. This eight-stage (0 – 7) maturity model measures the adoption and utilisation of EMR functions required to achieve a paperless environment that harness technology to support optimised patient care. The European Kate Granger Awards for Compassionate Care are named after an English doctor who worked tirelessly to raise awareness around compassion in healthcare while undergoing treatment for cancer.
The European awards have three categories: individual, team/organisation, and best use of innovation.
The panel of judges will award individuals who have a track record in ambitious and innovative ways of delivering care, excellent leadership and positive impact on patient experience. Read more.
The HIMSS-Elsevier Digital Healthcare Award aims to identify and recognise organisations within Europe that effectively use information technology to successfully improve quality of health and care as well as patient safety. During the ceremony, which will take place on Monday 28 May as part of the HIMSS Europe & Health 2.0 Conference, HIMSS and Elsevier will jointly be announcing this year's award winners and finalists.
