We can’t wait to welcome you in Helsinki on 7-9 September 2020. Helsinki Airport is well connected, has direct flights from over 130 destinations, and 180 daily international arrivals.

If you are flying from abroad, we recommend you look into flights and accommodation at you earliest convenience. You can also travel to Helsinki by ship if you are travelling from Stockholm, Tallinn, St Petersburg and Travemünde.


The HIMSS | Health 2.0 Conference will take place in the Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo & Convention Centre! With more than 75 trade and consumer shows and 2,000 meetings and congresses organised every year, Messukeskus is Finland’s largest and most venue.

  • Airport: I and P trains run from the airport to the nearby Pasila railway station. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and trains leave every 10 minutes in the daytime. By taxi, you can reach Messukeskus in 15–20 minutes.
  • The venue is only 4 mins from central train station, direct access from the airport 30 mins
  • Pasila railway station is only 300 m from the venue all local and long-distance trains stop here
  • Buses: 506 and 69 to Messukeskus, and buss 551 from Espoo to Pasila railway station
  • Trams from the centre of Helsinki: 7 and 9
  • Airport Bus - Transportation to and from Helsinki airport 
  • Regional transport timetable and routes
  • City Bikes - Shared bicycles available to everyone in Helsinki or Espoo
  • Taxi: A taxi rank can be found in front of Messukeskus. Taxis are allowed to drive right up to the entrance.

HSL logoHSL are providing a limited amount of complimentary day regional travel passes (free travel within Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa; the airport is located in Vantaa) for guests to use during the conference. These can be obtained from the registration desk when you pick up your badge, ensure to do this early as numbers are limited. Click here for further information



  • Parking is free for people who have a disabled parking permit. The P1 level of the car park has 20 parking spaces marked for the disabled. To obtain an exit ticket from a traffic director, please show your disabled parking permit.
  • If you are a Conference Centre customer, the Conference Centre will issue an exit ticket when you show your disabled parking permit. The hotel parking area is free for disabled persons.
  • All entrances and premises at Messukeskus provide easy access. All floors can be accessed by lift. Most of the restaurants at Messukeskus also provide easy access.
  • Taxis are allowed to drive to the entrances.
  • You can borrow a wheelchair at the entrance. If you wish to reserve a wheelchair in advance, send a message to customer.service@messukeskus.com. Please list the following in the message: the date and time of arrival, the entrance and your contact details.
  • Guide and assistance dogs are welcome at Messukeskus.
  • All Messukeskus floors have easy-access toilets.
