Siddharth Sharma is a functional excellence specialist working for Cummins Inc. He completed his undergraduate from Coventry University in Automotive Engineering and subsequently went on to do data courses from MIT online. He is passionate about data and works with data in his day job to improve supplier quality and manufacturing but away from work spends time on how data and understanding human behaviour could help drive better patient engagement and data driven decision making.
He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2015 and has since gone on to lead a team of type 1 diabetics to cycle across America. He enjoys talking at different opportunities to share his journey and lessons learnt from data, sports, online community and a global perspective on diabetes.
Organised by patients and caregivers for patients and caregivers, Patients 2.0 proposes a very interactive forum where patient conversations and sharing of experiences are encouraged. The event includes a showcase of innovative Health 2.0 solutions for patient-provider communications and shared decision-making, and addresses specific challenges we need to overcome in order to truly place patients at the center of the care team. Although this year's Forum will focus on a specific therapeutic area (Diabetes), the event remains free of charge for all patients, whether they are registered to attend the rest of the conference or not. Please contact Rebeka Gyorfi at firstname.lastname@example.org to request your invitation today! Free for patients, other stakeholders need to be registered and are accepted on a first come first served basis.
