Dr. Manish Kohli

Dr. Manish Kohli is a global physician leader and a steadfast champion of transforming healthcare through information and technology. He is currently the President and CEO, Manish Kohli MD Advisory and Consulting Services and is also a Co-founder and Partner, Infinite Care Holdings FZ-LLC.  He serves as Chairman, Global Board of Directors of Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).

Dr. Kohli has extensive work experience in variety of international health care settings focusing on clinical care and use of health information technology to advance common goals of better access to quality and value-based care. He advises health care startups and is a frequent invited speaker globally and has lectured extensively throughout Asia, Middle East, US, Europe and Australia.

Over his career, he has been instrumental in many firsts, including serving as the:

  • First CMIO in Middle East North Africa (MENA) region. In that role at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD) he was part of the leadership team that delivered the first, fully digital, HIMSS Stage 7 hospital in MENA region.
  • Director, Global Programs, Partners Harvard Medical International where he served in a dual capacity as the CMIO of University Hospital and Head, Medical Informatics for Dubai Health Care City (DHCC).
  • Medical Director, Clinical Information Systems at Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Kohli is a Fellow of HIMSS and is dually board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine- Clinical Informatics and the American Board of Family Medicine.  He graduated from SIU School of Medicine, Springfield, IL USA and completed residency training in Family Medicine at Rush Medical Center, Chicago, IL. He subsequently completed fellowship in Preventive Medicine from Johns Hopkins University. He holds a MPH in International Health and MBA in Medical Services Management from Johns Hopkins University.
