Minna Hendolin has been part of the health sector research, innovation and business ecosystem during last 25 years in multiple roles. Starting from the academic research, continuing to commercialization of own research findings all the way up to the listed multinational biopharmaceutical company. She has several years managing and leadership experience both in SMEs and large corporations as well as in public organization. Since 2010 Dr. Hendolin has been working for Tekes, the major public financers for R&D&I in Finland as a health and life science executive having responsible for Tekes health sector strategy, funding, programs, international collaboration activities and national and international innovation policy. At her current position as the Senior Director, she is leading the Health and Wellbeing thematic area at newly formed Business Finland covering innovation and export programs, international collaboration, funding and national strategic initiatives and policies. Dr. Hendolin belongs to the expert group for ESPON EGTC for preparing the proposal on “Future Digital Health in the EU” and EU Science|Business Health Measures, she has been a regular advisor for Enterprise Ireland and invited speaker in Horasis Global Leaders Summit. Ms. Hendolin holds a doctoral degree in biochemistry and molecular biology.
