As sensors and trackers are getting embedded in our everyday lives, health and care are becoming pervasive and ubiquitous: monitoring our vitals, tracking our activity levels, analyzing our sleep patterns, gathering data at every hour of day and night. As a result, every moment of the day is becoming an opportunity for citizens and patients to engage with their own health. Are we making the most of the incredible amount of health data produced? Far from it. Are care providers and health systems ready to include this data into a more complete view of their patients? Not really. Similarly, in the clinical setting, technologies are getting embedded, becoming more intuitive and voice activated. This session will explore the use of anywhere anytime technologies for consumers and health professionals.
