Genomics for Personalized Health and Research

June 13, 2019
10:45 - 12:00
Room 203

How many cancer patients have suffered the side effects of chemotherapy without seeing any of the benefits? Precision medicine and personalized health will be key to improving both the patient experience and clinical outcomes. And cancerology is only one therapeutic area where genetic factors can inform clinical decisions and accelerate research. How do we make the most of this highly sensitive data while protecting patients' privacy and securing a responsible access? This session will bring together experts from around the world to discuss the challenges and opportunities of harnessing genomics data to personalize and improve prevention, diagnostics, therapies and research.
